Duquesne for like 11 years . I'm actually not in any city limits by like 1000 feet and have a Joplin address but not only have I never been pulled over ...it's rare I see a cop let alone a cop with someone pulled over
I never have gotten a ticket either. However, I still see those cops today when I am in town, but usually they are just sitting somewhere and watching. 20+ years ago, they seemed quite active and that's probably how they got the reputation for being a speed trap... it seemed at times they liked to push the northern boundary and try to target MSSU (MSSC back then) students. Perhaps they toned it down, or perhaps people just know not to speed through there anymore.
They brought in a lot of athletes that did not attend the feeder Catholic schools. I think the Catholic kids are deciding they would rather go to a public school or St Dominic instead of competing with star athletes for playing time.
But the star athletes have transferred to better schools so they are now left with not enough players.
I'll set buildings on fire if they try that shit again with an election year approaching.

School admins have shut schools down for flu outbreaks since at least the 1960s, and for decades before that, they shut down for polio outbreaks. So I’m not sure why you would think they won’t do it again this winter if there’s a major outbreak of an infectious disease.
I'm talking about what happened in 2020. It is natural for a school to close for a few days, agree, if lots of staff and kids are sick. I am talking about the "asymptomatic spread" and masking garbage.
I will have my knee replaced in December and everybody in that room will be wearing a mask. You can believe what you want about "masking garbage" but there is a reason why Florida led the nation with the number of kids that lost a parent during covid. You should know better than to post this on here. My 2 cents but keep this crap off here. You are too good and valuable on this board for that.

Those in that room masked are not masked to prevent them from catching a virus. Apples to oranges and it has been proven that masks didn’t do anything to stop the spread of Covid. To do it again would be insanity.

Dude, FFS...ask questions if you don't know. Masks in surgery create a barrier for bacteria from the nose and mouth of those leaning over the patient with an opening in their body. Now, this is where you might need to read slowly...Covid is a virus. And I feel fairly safe in assuming there are no openings of bodies in a classroom. In any case, the difference in virus spread in a natural environment and a bacterial spread in a surgical environment are two completely and totally different things. It's literally like saying, hey that kid is an awesome quarterback and because of that I think he'd be awesome at fly fishing.
Wear one if you want. But the notion they do anything to stop or slow a freaking virus is just nonsense. I would think, if nothing else, the period from mid 2021 to close to the end of 2021 would've proven that. As far as Florida goes, densely populated areas tend to have a larger effect on raw numbers. Simply crazy how that works.

We're not gonna get anywhere discussing this on MoSports. Hell, ol Eagles_Ball tried to incorporate gender into this discussion earlier. Remains to be seen what Covid will become this year, I'm hoping and praying these kids in HS right now can return to some form of normalcy.
