out of Sherwood. Have they hired a new basketball coach yet?
What ever happened with the baseball incident and the punching of the player?

They hired a new basketball coach from Doniphan. I don't know much about him. The baseball coach is back from his suspension. The player who was punched quit the team to run track.......which he quit after a week. Other than that, things seem to be going well. The kids are making great strides in the weight room, which will really help next football season.

John Cox gets Concordia Head Football job....

Is that the John Cox who played at Sherwood? If so, he will do a great job.

I don't know for sure if it is or not. I hope so. John is a fine young man who will do a great job.

I'm almost sure it is him. I knew he was an assistant at Odessa.

Question for you. Do you know if Kevin Mitchell got out of coaching at Appleton City or did he leave??? Seems like I saw where he wasn't the head coach last season.

Coach Mitchell is still the head coach at AC. Yes, I found out it is the same John Cox that went to Sherwood. Good luck to him and the Concordia Orioles!
