[WCS Coach]

I was just on and noticed a post from you on the softball board last June. Haven't been on much lately I guess.

My favorite pitcher signed with St. Charles CC last Friday. She wanted to stay close to home and really liked the coach there, so it looks like a good fit.

Well good for her but she could have made a visit to another place or two to see if she liked it too.

Actually the deciding factor was her wanting to be closer to home. She could have gone to several other schools, but she is pretty close to her younger brothers and sister and wanted to be around for a few more years. Kinda hard to argue with that thought process.

I agree. If she wasn't happy no one would be. Tell her good luck, I'll probably get to see her play down here March 30th. Maybe she'll remember me, I was the old guy watching her warm for a game at Cape, maybe the summer before her sophomore year. I talked to her for minute that day.

She did mention that day. She had a rough basketball season and is ready to get on with college softball.

Maybe Coach Jack's field will dry up by the time she comes down here. Tarp on the infield so she'll be ok. We had 2" of rain last night and this morning that got rid of most of the snow we've had laying around for 2 weeks. Then it changed to sleet for a few hours but was just above freezing most of that time so not too much ice. Now we have 8 or 10" more snow and still coming down but much lighter than it was. After 0 Friday morning it's supposed to warm up over the weekend and get rid of it again.
