Kicked off the season this weekend with wins over Wabash Valley, 91-79, and Olney, Il. 93-58. Wabash is #23 the preseason poll. 3R will hit the road for a game at Lincoln Trail, 2 at Vincennes and 2 at Crowder before returning home to play Vincennes on the 29th.

Lady Raiders winning streak in the regular season and Region 16 play ended today in the Region 16 shootout at Crowder when Mineral Area beat them by about 10 points. They had a close call against State Fair yesterday hitting 2 free throws with about 5 seconds left to give them a 5 point lead and seal the win. They will play Vinncennes again at 3Rivers the 29th then another Region 16 showdown at Jefferson College the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of December where they will play Crowder, Moberly and Jefferson. From what I can tell so far Moberly is loaded, they beat Vincennes by about 50 the day before 3R beat them by 15 at Vincennes. Things should be interesting by the time the Region 16 Tournament rolls around in March.
Moberly is loaded. 3R appears to not be near where they were last year. Mineral area is just slightly above average and state fair is probably below average. I would expect more losses coming to 3R.
Sure could be the region will be better overall but I figure 3R will get better too, lot of new faces to learn the system and the competition. 3R couldn't possibly keep the pace they've had the last 2 or 3 years. When you lose Myia Yelder and Autumn Dodd the offense drops a little and the defense/press does too.
Since the loss to MAC the Lady Raiders have beat Vincennes at 3R and now in another Region 16 Shootout at Jeffco they beat Crowder yesterday and beat Moberly 70-52 today. I guess they ain't done just yet.
