The 34th annual Sturgeon Tournament will be played next week with Girls games scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and Boys games scheduled Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. As has been the case the last few years the girls bracket is loaded with 3 teams currently ranked in either Class 1, 2, or 3. You know it's tough when a Class 1 ranked Community R-6 team is the 6 seed. Below is the schedule for the 1st round to be held Monday, Jan. 22nd:
At the High School:
6:00 pm - (1) South Callaway vs. (8) Westran
7:30 pm - (4) Sturgeon vs. (5) Salisbury
At the Middle School:
6:00 pm - (2) Paris vs. (7) New Franklin
7:30 pm - (3) New Bloomfield vs. (6) Community R-6
At the High School:
6:00 pm - (1) South Callaway vs. (8) Westran
7:30 pm - (4) Sturgeon vs. (5) Salisbury
At the Middle School:
6:00 pm - (2) Paris vs. (7) New Franklin
