I know it was against the Phillies but ALL wins count the same at the end of the season. There is only 12 teams in all of baseball playing over .500 ball, even the mighty Cubs are at .500 over a 1/3 of the way through the season. The Brewers ain't gonna win the Central, the Birds need to hang around and see what happens.
And somebody tell Oh he needs to stop throwing the ball above the belt or he ain't gonna be as lucky as he was today. He don't get it up there at 100+, that pitch will get punished more times that not.

Waino seemed to struggle yesterday. He threw a lot of pitches. He couldn't get the curve over the first 2-innings. It felt like he had given up 5-6 runs. But he battled hard in the heat and actually kept them in it. And he would have only given up 1 run had Pham been able to perform an average major league throw from LF to home. He fielded the ball half way between the wall and infield with his momentum going towards home. An average throw would have gotten the runner by 3-4 steps. But his throw was 6-8 feet right of the plate and Fryer had no chance to make a tag. Pham did throw a guy out at 3B in the 2nd but it was more luck than anything. On a hit down the line he got to it and just quickly flung it towards 3B as a runner was trying to go first to third. Jed was able to catch it a few feet off the base and swipe tag the runner on the head. Lyons was OK and Rosey was nasty with several over 100 mph. Oh made it interesting.

They announced over 37k attendance. I know that's tickets sold but there's no way there was anywhere close to that many people there. I'd say a third less at least. It was really hot. I was really glad we had shaded seats. But there were many in the shade that went unused so we'd have moved. Hopefully that can continue the good streak.
