23 year old plays in JV game

I remember being told when my kid played that the outcome of JV games didn't matter to the coach so this is odd.

why not? It happens in volleyball.

I'm not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure the MSHSAA rule is that you can't play club sports if it's the same sport you are currently playing for your school team, in Missouri at least. But you can play for example volleyball or soccer on a weekend for a club team if you are playing bball for your school team.

It's sad that any is allowed because from all I've ever seen 'club teams' are more about the parents than the kids.

Girls basketball is struggling for players the way it is. Telling them they can't participate in club volleyball or soccer during the basketball season would just make things worse.

Club volleyball is quickly rivaling soccer for the most annoying experience ever.
