Webb has to play Carthage next week. Joey will be chomping at the bit.
Webb was sleepwalking through this game and the boys from Branson left it all on the field
At home against Carthage will be a different story

Hats off to Branson. Sounded like they gave it their all against us. Awesome it's been a while. Makes me think of Ozark. WEBB always beat them but there were many years they played us as tough as anyone we faced that season regardless of their record.
They most definitely didn’t dominate. In fact they played horrible. Just pointing out you’d comment. It was a 100 percent likelihood.
Someone definitely has an inferiority complex towards WC.
He yearns for the bulldogs history to be half as rich as Webb’s tbh.

Lets see 7-28 versus #1 in Class 5 or 22-20 versus #29 in Class 5? Hmm? You might wantbto ruminate on thst for a bit.
From what I’ve seen Carthage looks legit this year. Yes, a subpar performance against Branson could mean a lot better preparation next week but honestly Carthage is a much stronger opponent than WC will see the rest of the regular season and districts so I would imagine there will be a much better showing.
Hasn’t Carthage looked legit for most of the last 10-12 years??

Longer than that. cARTHAGE had a lot of one or two loss seasons all to WEBB until 2007 when they wo. When they be... I still can't say it...#*>€^*ing cARTHAGE....LOL all jokes Im finally ALMOST over that loss...
I have not seen Webb play this year, but what I have seen of Carthage over the last decade this is by far the most talented team they have put on the field on both sides of the ball. They are also very fast, they are very impressive.
For Webb the Branson game could have been a trap game who knows, I would not count the Cards out and would not be surprised to see them win, but I am thinking Carthage by 2TDs.

How many lineman are currently out? I heard that we will be missing 2-3 starters. If that is true we will have to play extremely well. I would still give us a slight edge since we are at home.
7-28 is a loss. 22-20 is a win. I would take the win any day, no matter how ugly. I'm not into moral victories. They don't win championships, only real victories will win you championships.
