LOL Basketball school, is just spit my ice tea all over my monitor. They have not been a basketball school for over a decade, it has been almost two decades since they have been in the NCAA. That dream died a long time ago.

I took it to mean Missouri state cares more about basketball than football, Springfield is a basketball town, Missouri state has more of a chance to be competitive in basketball than football, etc.

I agree, but they have a funny way of showing it. I do think the town does, there was a time the School did, they have not shown much of an interest in being good the last two decades.
