Can seniors that have already signed with NAIA or NCAA schools still play in sanctioned tourneys? Is there a rule in place for this or am i imagining things again?

It would depend on if they are currently playing another sport in high school. Athletes aren't allowed to miss high school team activities to play or practice for non-school teams. They could play with AAU teams if they don't miss any school team activities or don't play a spring sport.

Isn't there and age limit too?

Is there a sanction for this?

Curious... are you referring to a specific team that currently has seniors on it?

i am almost positive you can't play in sanctioned events if you are a senior and signed with the exception being JUCO. I have seen the Heat and Blackout use seniors but they don't play in upper level events so it may not matter in local promotions like hoops midwest etc..

As long as they have not signed I think they can play until June in sanctioned events. I know the Harris kid decommitted to Missouri State and is playing with MoKan

As far as I know, If they have signed an NLI they are no longer eligible for grassroots or NCAA sanctioned events.

What if someone just wants to keep playing basketball as long as possible? When are they no longer eligible?

in the rec leagues, town tournaments, intramurals in college and show me state games. There are plenty of chances to play after HS.
