2015 MBCA Inaugural Girls Basketball Poll

Cape Notre Dame in Class 4 is 0-3 and has been turbo clocked twice, yet they are ranked 6th in Class 4. Which tells us how un-important early season polls really are!

Kickapoo has already lost to un-ranked Republic and will probably lose to Crane this weekend.

Not to mention Cape ND graduated 8 players from last years team. Dexter only graduated 4, Maybe they should be ranked 3rd.

Maybe the pollsters should wait until about the 2nd week of January to see how things are shaking out......

I don't have a problem with coaches, or who ever the poll is for, voting for an early top 10 but they should at least pay attention to what the teams have done so far how many kids they lost from last year's team, which by the way never got past districts in their 4 years, not just pick a name they've heard a lot over the years. For many years when Cape ND was in class 2 they won their district for several years over some pretty good Twin Rivers teams. It happens to a lot of "good" teams because they are unlucky enough to be placed in a district with a team that is just that good every year for a long period of time.
