1985 Class 4A District 7 playoff Center 19 Harrisonville 10

Those were the days. My older brother was a senior on that Harrisonville team. I love the football from that era.

Great stuff! Have to agree...........the next year was a breakthrough dream for us K grads as the Yale Van Dyne led Bulldogs gained their first ever playoff berth in 1986 losing to explosive O'Hara at Center in easily the COLDEST game I have attended to date. Back in those years radio was the only alternative to going to the game in person. The atmosphere at some of those great 1980s games cannot be matched today without a doubt!

Those were the days you could roam free around the whole stadium complex. As kids we would walk right behind the players bench and talk to the players during the game. Plus the endless cup football games behind the bleachers with the other towns kids. The 1970's and 1980's were the best time to be a kid.
