Disagree with the premise of your question. Scientifically, it is a naturally occurring cycle. During the Quaternary glacial epochs c. 2.5 million years ago and forward, Canada and a large part of the northern United States; i.e., as far south as St. Louis and slightly south of the Missouri River in central Missouri, were covered with ice numerous times. The question is whether man has exacerbated the naturally occurring cycle and, if so, how much. We do know that the recession of the glacial sheet (and the lack of subsequent advance) occurred long before man had a significant impact upon the environment.
Nobody denies the fact that the earth has been in a constant cycle of Heating up and Cooling down. And yes the 64 million dollar question is if we are having a effect on the Cycle. Or if our activities are so miniscule that the Carbon etc. we release has a minimal effect or a great effect.
My issue with the Global warming....oh wait we had to change that to climate change as some area's are cooling LOL...issue is that there is really nothing that can be done. China and other countries are not going to do what is necessary China has 100 coal plants coming on line and we are shipping them a ton of it....and America is leading the World in reducing carbon Admissions.
Biden's insane Electric Car plan is pure fantasy. I mean do the math. With the Trillions of miles drove in America a year, the amount of Electricity it would take to run those cars is beyond what we can produce now. We'd have to start opening up 1 or More Nuclear Power Plant a week just to meet our driving needs not counting the rest of our power need.
To much Money being made by all this So Called Green policies stuff that is being passed. And guess who is making BANK on this Crisis. Follow the Money it's not complicated.
Of course we could always do what China does and stop people from Driving on Certain days and restricting movement.
Seems weird to that nobody ever goes after the Airlines.....which are the biggest polluters around. Wonder why.....HMMMMM

Unfortunately, though it sounds stupid and ridiculous, it isn't just made up out of thin air (thank you). Cows do expel methane (but then so does ever other living thing) and methane is a known greenhouse gas (as is water vapor), but my problem with it is that I find it hard to make the direct connection that the Greenies do because there are literally an entire planet of factors that contribute to our warming/cooling cycles.
I agree. I believe climate change and global warming are occurring because of natural cycles and man made factors. There are too many people on the planet for it to handle all of our wastes.

Oh c'mon you know it's his fault, just like gas prices. Now our republican governor has taken it upon himself to raise our gas tax. We've need the money from that tax for a lot of things for long time but the pubs and voters in general have not passed it when on the ballot in a LONG time.
You do know that the Climate Cycles a 12,000 to 15,000 range scale. From warm periods to ice ages. The question is how much of a effect is man having? And can we adapt to the change? Adaption is really the answer....because....
At this time really nothing can be done to stop it. The push on a world wide scale to Bring Western style living based on massive energy consumption...travel with car's, air planes, bought Air, technology that slowly sucks energy, and the use of disposable consumer goods that factories churn out on a continued bases is a Energy use nightmare.
The World Economy is bases on all of the things I mentioned above.....and the lame answers the power elites have to address the issues are laughable. Which is basically signing bogus Accords that the biggest polluters won't and can't follow. Or subsidizing so called clean energy that is so inefficient and unreliable that you have to to make it do able by pretending they work and then relying on Carbon based energy to carry the load. Or of course let's not forget the Carbon Credit idea.. polluting and then offsetting that with Carbon Credits....that was a real scam. None of the things that our leaders or the World leaders have even proposed is going to work or ever be accepted. Which will lead to strive and division.
If the world was interested in clean energy, we would of already solved the Nuclear problem by investing and making Molten Salt Reactors the Norm and usable. But Nope we want invested in Wind and Solar and trying to develop super batteries that can store enough energy to make them efficient. Follow the money and who has invested in that stuff and who is getting the kickbacks you will find the answers.

Short answer to much over population in 3rd world countries. Trying to improve third world countries is harmful to the environment. Nothing can be done and Nothing is being done other than ginning up fear and making money off that fear. If you want Clean Energy Nuclear is only legit option... At this point I don't give a darn and basically ignore the whole issue.

The issue is that nothing and I mean nothing can be done at all in reality with near 7+ billion people on earth. Adaption is the only answer because no way are we rolling back the clock and slowing down our energy consumption world wide.
We dropped the ball on Nuclear the only real source of clean energy, instead of tackling the problems with Nuclear we just pushed it aside and kept going all in on other sources and lied about Solar and Wind tech. being legit sources.
In reality nothing can be done the cart is rolling down hill out of control. No country is going to really curtail their populaces energy uses. They will only increase.
So adaption is the only possible solution. Rapid Climate change....flooding, droughts...Hurricanes...Tornado's...and all the other issues that come with these natural events will have to be planned for and dealt with in expedient manner. I'd say massive Food and Supply storage through out the country in every state would be wise and a network of ways to move supplies to area's of need would be a smart move as well. The issue is can this be done with all the Red Tape and gov. bureaucracy in a efficient manner. I doubt it can be. FEMA is a disaster of gov. waste.
