The class behind mine got to play Country Day there.

My older brother was a sophomore that season. I was in the 5th grade. That was a great season despite the loss that day.

No. In 1986 Macon played Country Day in Busch II. Good friend of mine Shawn Blodgett scored our only points on a scoop and score. Even missed the XP on our way to a blowout loss. Go figure.

Country-Day had an athlete playing QB/DB named Lamont Greer that had a major impact on that game.

I remember that day. Cold.
Rockhurst beat Hazelwood Central in a tight one. Tony VanZandt was a sophomore. Parkwood beat a scrappy Union team that had the smallest (and equally tenacious) nose guard I’ve ever seen.
Country Day had a good RB named Sally and jerseys that said CODASCO on them.

Now, where the @#$& are my car keys?!
