There was an 8 man game in MO this year with team scoring 83 in one half. Game called at half

In 8-man football there is a 45 point mercy rule that can be utilized to end the game early. It’s up to the losing team if they want to continue playing or not. After a 45 point margin is reached, there is a running clock.

That is rediculous. I hate how coaches dont realize that after the clock is running, there is a great chance for program development by getting your younger players friday night experience and getting them ready for the future. Last time I checked, a win is a win rather if it is by one or by one hundred.

The bad part is they ask the winning team for a running clock and they said no to it! Coach should be fired IMO.
