#1 and #2 seeds

I know there are games being played today - but it looks like the #1 and #2 seeds remained unscathed going into the second round. A couple of #5's beat #4's and some #6's beat #3's but none of the bigger upsets yet.

On the way home from racing I listened to a double overtime thriller at LS West where the Titans survived vs. neighbor rival Ray-Pec. That really shocked me.

I kind of sensed that one coming Top. Based upon past history and the fact Ray-Pec was playing much better of late. Just one of those weird scenarios where #1 didn't draw the real #8.
Now think about this. For LSW, a #1 seed, to win class 6 they would have to run a gauntlet of Ray-Pec, Rockhurst; Park Hill/LS; BS/BSS; and CBC/Eureka? A tall, tall task for anyone.

Joplin and Poo were the real bottom teams. And Ray Pec stepped their game up big time the past few weeks.
