made in profits according to Forbes by the top 25 money earning Division 1 college football programs. Why in the world can they not give all players on the roster a full ride scholarship? Why a limit on scholarships when there is plenty of money?

Here's Clemson/Alabamas pitch "Come here on a full ride. Win every game, get coached by the best coaches in the nation, and drill against the best players in the nation every day. The NFL will come here because it's a one-stop shop for the best players in the nation."

Here's MU/etc "Come here on a full ride and lose half the games. The NFL scouts won't show up because we don't have any of the top players like the one-stop shops of Clemson/Alabama do. But you get a full ride! Even though Clemson/Alabama can also offer you a full ride and we aren't even in the same class as them in any capacity you should still come here because we can give you a full ride just like Clemson/Bama can."

That's a real tough decision to make. So basically Bama, Clemson, Georiga, Ohio St, and a few others will get even more of the top players because they don't have any restriction on the number of scholarships they can give out.

Yet everybody is tired of seeing Clemson vs Alabama. Lets just make the parity in sports even worse. That'd be like telling the Warriors they can have more than 12 active players on the roster. "Hey, I know you have 5 all-stars already but sign as many guys as you want because we have the money. It doesn't matter."

Back in the day, they could have more. Teams would stock up so other schools wouldn't get the other good players. This is why there is a bit more diversity today, but the best are going to go to Alabama and so on.

In one ranking of high schools in each state:

Kentucky 20

Florida 26

Missouri 29

Tennessee 35

Texas 36

Georgia 38

South Carolina 40

Arkansas 41

Alabama 44

Mississippi 45

Louisiana 50

Don’t you think maybe those state schools at the bottom could do a better job with that money generated than paying a bench warmer to warm the bench, beyond a free college education?

Don't make this about a select few. I am talking all kids should be taken care of when so much money is being made. Results will be the same, but many more kids will be provided an education that is paid for. Some of those players may want to come to MU and be first team instead of going to Alabama and being 3rd string. Again, this is about taking care of all football kids.

Why should players get scholarships at all??

How about going to real student-athletes on teams and not semi-pro NFL minor league??
