For the ones going to 4 day school weeks, there is the money they saved to buy the shot clocks. If that does not work, ask your nearest private school to donate the money for the clocks. On a MSHSAA podcast this week, the executive director said it would cost $8000 to install a shot clock, not counting the cost of hiring people to run it. With so many schools financially struggling to the point of four-day weeks, where does the money come from?
I got a response from them, they stated that I should email mshsaa as the social media team is for celebrating athletes and achievements not communicating official decisions.I’ll be holding my breath and…

Aghhhhhhhhhh
Clearly some of the smaller schools will have some issues. But as we have talked about before 8,000 in the big picture of a schools budget is not really that much for a one time purchase. Schools waste money on all kinds of things. They will make it work. The bigger issue IMO is having to find workers to be at the table. I know some schools already struggle to keep the table staffed and now they will need an additional person. On a MSHSAA podcast this week, the executive director said it would cost $8000 to install a shot clock, not counting the cost of hiring people to run it. This is definitely the way they get this done with Admin being against it. Coaches as a whole want it. No matter what the response is over the next couple years the state will say it has been well received and push on to do what they want. The state is going to do what the state wants and the writing as been on the wall for awhile on this.

Trinity is NOT FOR REAL anymore...Next you are going to tell us Trinty is not for real, there's never a seating issue for Webb road games, Blair Oaks is not private, and Class .5 doesn't exist.
NOW youre making sense! TOTAL SHAM! But, like I've always said, GREAT for nappingClass .5 does not it's 1-6 plus some sham they call 8man that they try to sell as football.
It's a possibility, Cantwell was in at DE a few plays against Joplin in the District Championship last season. Will Nixa use Cantwell on the D line in the playoffs?
I think they would be wise too. You don't want to use him all the time. But pick your spots to rotate him in.Will Nixa use Cantwell on the D line in the playoffs?
just caught up on this thread. This is a classic line here! Great stuff cards. The jealousy over this kid from Nixa is something to behold.Maybe we should have Charlie Tweeder put him on America's funniest shots in the nuts
