He legit doesn't look like the same guy from the playoffs. If anybody deserves to work themselves into game shape, it's him.. But we can be honest about it.
Something that nobody is taking into account for some reason is his age. At some point you do start to decline athletically and maybe its starting to happen to him at 34 (35 in a couple weeks). Mix that with the fact that there isn't a single TE in the league having a great season and I don't really know why people are 1. surprised and 2. blaming his relationship/partying. I guarantee you he didn't party anymore this offseason than he ever has in the past.

Tri-county Week 5

Blair Oaks Flies away with a W in a battle of not so top ten teams
Eldon powers over Hallsville
Osage (Indians have always owned the ponies since the wild west days)
Dexter (fighting Dexter and them mosquitos will be too much for SoBoCo)
Moberly in a landslide

Wouldn't your reasoning for Osage Indians over Cali Horses be the same for Hallsville Indians over Eldon Horses? Lol.

My predictions: Blair Oaks wins by a lot this week, and the next week ( admittedly, I do not know a single thing about their next opponent), and the next week, and the next week, and... well you get it.

The man has caught 8 of 12 targets! His blocking is way over looked. 29 targets to Rice. The numbers are not there, but man the man is still doing his job!
You're talking about statistics and I'm talking about his movement. He isn't moving the same and looks sluggish. I think it will eventually balance out, but the eyes tell me that he is dragging a bit. Whether that is because he is out of shape and is working his way back into shape, or he is slipping due to age, I don't know. I just know he doesn't *look* like the same Kelce we've seen before.

COC Week 5 Pickem'

I think both can be true. Nixa was definitely the better team last week, Carthage needed to play as close to a perfect game as possible to win, and try to force Nixa into making mistakes. Obviously neither of those things happened, the interception on Carthage’s first drive killed the momentum they had starting out. I was honestly impressed with Nixa’s defense, they played better than what I was expecting.
Sometimes turnovers happen because the other team is better too, huh? If they played 10 times, Carthage doesn't win one of them. And that's no knock on Carthage.

I also agree, both can be true. Just wasn't in this case.

Yeah, and not being nearly as good as your opponent causes it too.

I’m at Kirkwood vs Eureka tomorrow. How ‘bout you?

I will be staying in Windsor to watch the Hounds play Lincoln is the homecoming game. I will also get to see Kaching go into the Greyhounds HOF. I also hope to be able to watch East Buchanan at Lathrop.
Congrats to Coach Kaching! A well-deserved honor for the man! Should be a homecoming Victory party so I hope he gets out on the ol dance floor and shows the kids how to Shake it Like a Salt Shaker
