Lets take a Look at 7 Equal classes

No dipshit because the current system isn't watered down. Obviously people van disagree with me as that backyard from Kearney and I disagree on everything but this topic which is weird. If anyone is acting like a bitch it's you.

I would say that if they did this, it would add a class to how far the success factor can bump them up, so in Ritters case, Class 6

In Valle’s case, Class 3(probably)

valle will be class 3 after next year anyways. I mean no matter what the honks say their districts are a complete and utter joke unless an STL superteam slips in there somehow. I doubt the football advisory folks let that happen again.

Best breakdown I have ever seen for great competition across the classes - size levels better together. This year 4 was way out of whack. The Class 1/2 breakdown is also whack. Squeezing up Class 5s is just adding fodder for the big boys.

This uses next years DESE numbers with current year private numbers

Enrollment Breaks are

Class 1 is 91-181 44 Teams (duchesne is the top moving them to C2)
Class 2 is 188-300 44 Teams
Class 3 is 301-439 43 Teams
Class 4 is 447 - 604 44 Teams
Class 5 is 607 - 958 43 Teams
Class 6 is 973 - 1257 44 Teams
Class 7 is 1259 - 1842 43 Teams

Noone is over a 2.0 ratio
Every class has 43 or 44 teams
Will need 8 Districts with 5 or 6 teams in them in each class

Classes below in comments

Tear it up with complaints that's what a discussion board is for

We are not Even close to "watered down" with 7

Well that’s misleading Joey.

If I remember correctly, Kansas may have 6 classes but their classes are also split into something like sub classes so there are multiple state champions in each class. Or at least that was my understanding as of a few years ago.

Arkansas and Illinois have 7 and Oklahoma has 6.

I’m not for or against 7 classes for Missouri. Doesn’t matter to me either way.

If in some weird way, it helps preserve as many 11 man programs as possible, I wouldn’t fuss too much.

This is not the case. They crown only one state champion per class. Semifinal winners are called “Sub-State Champions” but that’s the same as saying “semifinal champions.”

I wasn’t sure. I knew in some of their smaller classes they had small and large divisions and I thought they crowned state champs for each.
