Class 2 District Seeds

Class 2 district 14 will be played @ Windsor high school with 3 outstanding teams playing for the championship. Sacred Heart is the defending class 2 state champion ( 31-0 last season ) and have the top seed and ' Lots of folks " think they will repeat.
The Scott County Central Braves are the defending class 1 state champion but has moved to class 2 district one for two years. SCC will be playing in a loaded field @ Bloomfield with Bernie, Bloomfield and South Pemiscot as the competition. We don't know much about class 2 basketball here in St. Louis but I always enjoy attending the small school championships.
Crane high school is the top ranked class 2 team in Missouri this year but have a " situation " that could hurt their chances for districts and beyond. If Crane wins district 11, their sectional game with district 12, the class 2 state championship may be @ stake in the Quarter finals with the district 14 winner and a trip to the final four.

If Crane is in District 11, according to the bracket, they could not see the District 14 winner until the State Championship game.

I wouldn't sleep on District 10 either. Gainesville lost to Crane on a buzzer beater a couple weeks ago while G'Ville was in a bit of funk and not playing particularly well. Since then they lost a close game to Class 5 Ozark, have beaten class 5 Republic, class 4 Aurora by 27 and class 3 Lamar by 27.
They are starting to gel at the right time. Play both Mansfield and Hartville over the next 2 weeks, so we should know even more after those games.
